My passion for editing grew from my love of storytelling and problem solving. I'm always pursuing the thrill of a well paced montage or a cut that brings new meaning to 2 distinct visuals. Working on community focused documentaries, branded social content, music videos, or sketch comedy, I've learned the best way to get experience cutting, coloring, or compositing is to shoot something. I use my continuing experience as a producer and director to develop my skills in post production.
As X-15's Media Asset Manager, I'm a multitool for all things technical, post production, design, and client facing. On campaigns of all scopes, for Best Buy, Kohls, General Motors, and He Gets Us, what I bring to the table is my versatility and solid work ethic. I manage communications between clients and production/post partners; assemble pitch decks, pre-production books, schedules and asset tracking matrixes; serve as on set DIT; manage the storage, handoffs, and proper care of client assets; shoot behind-the-scenes photos and videos on set; edit photos and videos for award submission campaigns and social posts; and lastly, oversee quality control, final delivery and archival of digital, broadcast and social spots. Outside of work I enjoy standing on moving boards (the surf, skate, or snow variety), playing tennis or guitar (parallel or perpendicular strings for today?), and exploring places familiar or foreign, urban or wild (usually imagining I were a cowboy with my trusty mirrorless six-shooter).
